Don't you think it's convenient there's clothing you can wear while you're pregnant and for nursing too? Having trendy breastfeeding apparel that flatters your pregnancy curves as well as your postpartum body is something I thought about. As plus size, sometimes it's harder to find styles in the sizes you need, but I recently found Momzelle and I loved what they offered!
Momzelle's mission is "help mothers feel confident and comfortable breastfeeding anywhere!" "We dream of a world where breastfeeding is accepted and embraced; where it is truly seen as normal, natural and beautiful. We hope for a world where nursing in public is never associated with the word 'controversy'."
Momzelle was started in 2007 in Toronto, Canada but has since grown quite a bit! They are now located in Montreal. Their clothing is designed for both pregnancy and nursing, is priced affordably and is made from high quality fabrics. They currently offer bras, tanks, short and long sleeved shirts, dresses, pyjamas, nursing scarves, nursing bands, nursing necklaces and even diaper bags! They are one of the sponsors for this year's Big Latch On!

My friend Valerie modeled the Molly Nursing Tunic and she really liked this shirt! This was the first time she's worn a shirt like this and she found it easy to use. Valerie is shown tandem nursing her 2 year old and 2 month old in the photo below!
The Molly Nursing Tunic is long sleeved and scoop necked. It has one panel in the front that lifts up with kind of like a W shaped cut in the fabric underneath, exposing the breasts. The first thing you will notice about this shirt is that it is longer than most shirts. I think the length is figure flattering, but it has ruching detail along the side seams, so it's very slimming, too. It comes in a variety of gorgeous shades! I love the navy blue that Valerie is wearing!
You can get this shirt in XS, S, M, L, XL or XXL.
I really did not feel that the Molly Nursing Tunic in size XXL fit me, the fabric didn't seem to have as much stretch to it and my breasts (at a DDD currently) felt smooshed. I asked for my friend Valerie (who is size 16) to give it a try and it fit her really well (as you can see in the photos above)!
The Molly Nursing Tunic will soon be available in a longer fit, as well as some new colors for Fall!
The Lucy Nursing Top has a front panel as well, and it lifts or pulls down and it is different than the Molly Nursing Tunic. It has two criss-cross panels, with nothing underneath.
There is ruching along the side seams in this shirt also. The material on the Lucy Nursing Top seems stretchier and softer than that of the Molly Nursing Tunic, but they both are labeled to be 94% cotton and 6% spandex.
The Lucy Nursing Top comes in three colors and is available in sizes XS-XXL.
I am wearing the Lucy Nursing Top in black size XXL in the photo below. I feel that this tank fits me perfectly. I am a size 20 and I am happy to have plus size friendly nursing apparel options!
I love the photo taken of me nursing my 2 month old for World Breastfeeding Week on Instagram, wearing the Lucy Nursing top. I pulled it down, I really like that you can either pull up or down with it!
I made a quick video to show you how the Lucy Nursing Top works! Check it out HERE!
What is my favorite thing about Momzelle's Molly and Lucy Nursing shirts? I love the fashion variety they have as well as all the colors! They're so vibrant! Gorgeous fabrics and A+ style!
Is there anything I'd change? I think they should extend sizing up just one more, I'd be wearing that Molly Nursing Tunic everywhere if it fit me!
I give Momzelle a 9/10!
