Ease Digestive Discomfort with Regular Girl
We all know the benefits of getting a well balanced diet, but there are certain elements to my daily intake that I've struggled with. As a mom to 4, I try really hard to provide nutritious meals! I buy organic, gluten-free, minimally processed whole foods. We sit down at the table every evening and enjoy a homemade dinner together as a family. However, I've found that there are times that I get so busy with all my duties, so I end up not eating very good. Momlife is stressful and I admit I may eat too fast, or not enough sometimes. Plus, I know that I am not getting enough fiber. I've had a lot of bloating and digestive discomfort, so I started looking for fiber supplements.
Well, I was asked to give Regular Girl a try... I was very interested in learning more and read on the website that Regular Girl is a "synbiotic blend of clinically proven prebiotic fiber and probiotics that help maintain a healthy digestive balance for women, men and children." I was sent a package of products in order to facilitate this review and I'm excited to be sharing my experience with my readers.
Here are a couple of terrific resources about fiber!
The FDA says in their Nutrition Facts Label: Dietary Fiber that "diets higher in dietary fiber promote intestinal regularity and can reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease."1
"In the United States, the recommended dietary fiber intake is 14g/1,000kcal. For an average adult, this means a daily intake of 25g (female) or 38g (male). Most Americans only consume about half of the recommended intake (13.5 and 18g, respectively). To maximize the health benefits of fiber, it is important to consume a variety of fibers."2

You can buy Regular Girl at Hy-Vee! I shop at Hy-Vee for the majority of my groceries, so having it locally available is very convenient for me! There are a couple different options to choose from. There is the scoopable powder or the on-the-go packets. If you have any questions about Regular Girl, you can learn more about this product as well as other healthy foods for you and your family by meeting with a Hy-Vee dietitian!
Regular Girl is a dietary supplement formulated by a female nutritionist and dietitian that knew the importance of getting a full daily intake of fiber, acknowledging the challenges that are there for many of us in achieving total nutrition. Regular Girl uses the award winning Sunfiber® brand of soluble dietary fiber and the clinically proven Bifidobacterium lactis. This blend is 100% natural, non- GMO, gluten-free and vegan, as well as free of any preservatives or additives.
There are only 10 calories per serving and 5 grams of prebiotic fiber. It dissolves thoroughly with cold or hot beverages without changing the taste or texture! If you're looking for some inspirational on how to incorporate Regular Girl into drinks and foods, check out all the recipe ideas via Regular Girl on YouTube.
I love tea and drink it several times a week. Mixing Regular Girl into my tea is simple. Just dump a scoop in and swirl/stir. I made a little video to show how easy it is! It literally takes 30 seconds.
After only 3 days of using Regular Girl, I felt my stomach felt lighter. I thought it could just be in my head so I took 3 days off and I went back having indigestion. Since then, I've been adding it to my favorite beverage three to four times a week. I do want to add here that adding in fiber too quickly into your diet may cause excess flatulence. This is why I only use it 3-4 times a week at this point. Honestly, it has helped improve my digestive mobility, also I feel much fuller! I am very pleased with the results and look forward to seeing even more benefits in the future! Regular Girl has helped ease digestive discomfort for me.
What is my favorite thing about Regular Girl?
I love how simple it is to add in a few extra health benefits with a quick scoop of Regular Girl in my favorite beverage. It has made things easier for me in taking steps towards improving my overall nutrition. I absolutely do feel that Regular Girl helped ease my digestive discomfort.
Is there anything I'd change?
I feel like this product is much better than others I’ve seen on the market.
I give Regular Girl a 9/10!
You can buy Regular Girl on the Regular Girl website, in store at Hy-Vee or online. You can also purchase through my affiliate Amazon.
