Thirsties was the first name brand cloth diaper that I purchased new when I started cloth diapering! I have come to really like this brand and was quite interested in trying out the Thirsties Natural One Size All In One from The Green Nursery. I have tried a few other AIO's but never one with natural fibers and I love that Thirsties has this option available!

Thirsties Natural All In One (NAIO) in the Stargazer print is just out of this world!  It's sweet and cute, with moons, planets and of course lots of stars! This diaper is perfect for any baby.  It is a ONE SIZE cloth diaper, fitting babies approximately 8-40 pounds.  There are 3 columns of rise snaps that create three different sizes.  There are 2 rows of ten waist snaps.  The back side of the diaper has elastic to keep the waist fitting softly snug and helping prevent leaks up the back.  The legs have elastic sewn between the layers, giving a gentle fit.

The outer shell is made of TPU laminate- a biodegradable, solvent free process using heat to laminate fabric and is waterproof.   Inside you will find a total of 11 thirsty layers of organic cotton, offering INCREDIBLE absorbency!  The lining of the body has 3 layers of organic cotton and there are 2 soaker pad flaps attached to the inner TPU tummy panel- each consisting of 4 layers of organic cotton.  This style of soaker pad flaps helps cut back the drying time, which has always been a concern for me when using AIO's.  You can print a PDF copy of Thirsties use & care as well as washing/drying recommendations HERE.
The Thirsties NAIO OS cloth diaper is very trim!  Currently, The Green Nursery has 19 prints to choose from.  This diaper is sold at just under $25.
My friend Kelee just started using cloth diapers with her 4 month old and I asked her if she'd like to give this diaper a try and share her thoughts for this review.  This is what she had to say:
"So first off I have never tried an AIO cloth diaper and I was super hopeful that it would live up to the hype. The first time I put it on, I noticed right away that it wasn't as "fluffy" as my and didnt make my 18 week old look like he had a huge butt. The fit was snug enough without bunching up in the middle which is an issue I have with some. I put him to sleep around 9pm and he woke at midnight to nurse and have a bottle and I check for dampness but there was none. I noticed it was a bit damp by 4am but he wasnt fussy and it was barely there (even though I know he usually pees a lot between 12-4am!) so I left it on until 7am, and it was definitely wet. I was pleased that I didn't have to change him in the middle of the night like I usually do and that he seemed extremely comfortable! There were no red marks when I went to change it. I washed it with my normal process (first cold prewash, then warm wash) and it air dryer much faster than I thought! I ended up using it again for being out and about to run errands and he only needed changes after being out for about 5 hours. I love this brand and this style!"
I was provided this diaper to help facilitate this review. The Green Nursery is my favorite online retailer for cloth diapers, and I've purchased a lot of diapers and diaper accessories from TGN!  With every purchase, you earn reward points that can be redeemed as credit towards future purchases.  I've actually earned several FREE cloth diapers because of the TGN Baby Bucks rewards program!  Head over to The Green Nursery and check out the Thirsties NAIO, as well as all the other awesome baby products!
What's my favorite thing about the Thirsties Natural All In One?
The organic fabrics!  I prefer cotton or hemp or bamboo lining and inserts and am so happy Thirsties offers it!
Is there anything I'd change?
Nothing at all, it's a great diaper.
I give the Thirsties NAIO a 10/10!
