As a busy mom, there have been quite a few times that I just wanted to get dinner done as quickly and as effortlessly as possible. This can be challenging if you focus on healthy choices, like we do.  I VERY RARELY buy any kind of pre-packaged food but when I found out about the Dinner Hero by Revolution Foods, I felt it was worth a try.  You can make a healthy dinner easy with Dinner Hero by Revolution Foods!

Revolution Foods mission is to build life-long healthy eaters by making family-inspired, chef- crafted food accessible to all.  The Dinner Hero is great for families, and can help kids explore new culinary flavors.  There are no artificial colors or flavors and each kit contains over 42 grams of whole grains. The Dinner Hero is perfect for 4 people or less.
There are 4 Dinner Hero options available including:
•  Fiesta Taco
•  Smoky Tomato
•  Sesame Garlic
•  Coconut Curry
My kids love tacos, so I want to share my experience with this Fiesta Taco kit.  First, here's a bit more about Revolution Foods.
"Revolution Foods was founded 10 years ago by two moms who wanted to change the way that kids eat in America. We are the leading provider of healthy family meals across the nation, serving over 2 million school meals a week over 2 million freshly-prepared meal a week in 1000+ schools nationwide. Integral to our success is a deep commitment to nutrition, childhood education and sustainable supply chains—things we all care a great deal about. Now, we are bringing our recipe for success to stores too, with convenient, healthy solutions for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our Breakfast Hero and Dinner Hero products are a healthy choice for busy parents, but still packed with fun and flavor for the whole family! Revolution Foods also donates 1% of our retail sales to schools to help provide fresh meals to their students every day."
Each Dinner Hero opens up with a helpful list of everything you'll need to have on hand in order to make the meal, as well as instructions on how to make it.  There's even a tip included on what you can add along to make it even more enjoyable!  Add your meat of choice, you can mix and match whatever you'd like.
There are 3 steps, and THAT'S IT!!! It takes only 30 minutes from start to finish, which is awesome when you are in a rush or just need a little break from time-consuming prep work and cooking time.
The Nutrition Facts label is refreshing.  I am someone who had problems with too much sodium in the past, so now I constantly watch how much I'm putting in me and my children.  One serving size has 18% of your daily intake allowance, which is at least half of what you'd get in another name brand popular taco kit mix.
I ate a salad before my bowl of the Fiesta Taco Dinner Hero, but I'd highly suggest to just topple some salad, chopped onions, tomatoes, olives and maybe a little sour cream too!
The flavor is really different than the typical taste you get with a normal ordinary taco seasoning packet.  The spices in the Fiesta Taco Dinner Hero have a little POW in them but go so well with the red quinoa and brown rice blend.  My 2 older kids (7 & 14) said it was delicious and even my 14 month old said "Mmmmmmmm!"  My 3 year old can't have wheat or dairy, so she missed out on trying it, but still, I'd purchase this kit again.  However, I'm hoping there will be some gluten-free and dairy-free options available in the future so we can all enjoy a delicious dinner together!
