My children LOVE books, especially books that relate to them! I'm happy to share a book review with you of an adorable book my girls love!
I am an Amazon affiliate and when the products I talk about are offered on Amazon, I let you know! Please see my full disclosure for more information on my use of affiliate links.
Both my older girls have adorable curly hair and my oldest daughter is NOT happy with it, the majority of the time. She always says, "I wish my hair was straight!" However, she's always complimented on her pretty curls and can just wash and go, no extra work for her to look gorgeous! It looks like my three year old is going to have the same luxurious locks, how lucky are they?!
We saw a book called Curlee Girlee posted by another blogger I follow, and I was excited to see something so similar to our situation. The author kindly sent us a complimentary copy! It is written by Atara Twersky and the fabulous illustrations are by Karen Wolcott.
It is a hard cover, which we prefer because it holds up well, with 4 kids, we love books that stand the test of time.
It begins with the main character, Curlee, as a baby, who barely has any hair. She grows into a young lady, learning to love her hair.
The story is fun, uplifting and the illustrations are perfect!
This book is something I almost could have written myself about my daughter's hair!
If you have a little one that is picky about her curly hair, it's definitely a good book to get! We've read it over and over and now my oldest curly hair girl is reading it to my middle curly hair girl. We have yet to see if baby Katie has curls like her sisters, too.
