October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a day dedicated in remembrance of those who have lost their child due to miscarriage, pregnancy complications, stillbirth, SIDS or newborn death.  It is also known as the International Wave of Light, where a candle is lit across the world to remember our babies who have gone.
If you haven't experienced pregnancy or infant loss, but know someone who has- HERE is a great article on what to say to be a supportive friend or family member- from BellyBelly.com
I understand the grief and feeling isolation or a sense of vacancy take over... and the pain, it hurts like nothing else.  I've miscarried.  Although I never was able to see my baby, loving her was the easiest thing I've done and losing her was the hardest.  It's devastating.  Every little detail about this life matters.  Your baby is your baby and always will be.
When it happened, I went online to find support groups, other people who knew what I was thinking, people who actually had similar feelings and survived.  I know of some great links for you to check out if you're looking for pregnancy loss or infant loss resources.  I've had some friends lose at later dates than I, who helped me complete this list. I want to share all the resources I can with you all in one place so you can easily find your tribe to carry you through.  If you have any more resources please feel free to leave them in the comments or email me at latchedonmom(at)gmail(dot)com.
