I encourage everyone to write their birth story. Your story matters. Birth is a magical, beautiful life event and it marks a significant part of motherhood. Releasing your thoughts about your experience can be healing and connect you more to your child, and to others who may have experienced a similar situation. Positive birth stories encourage and support our communities, are uplifting and give parents- especially new parents, or those who have suffered birth trauma- inspiration for their own birth journey.
What was birth like for you?
I'd like to create a place where women can go to feel empowered and I'm looking for stories to feature in a special segment here on my blog during Empowered Birth Awareness Week 2015.
Here's the criteria:
Must highlight what made it a positive experience for you.
Include at least 1 photo (my logo and "shared by" your first name will be placed over it).
Please limit to 300 words.
Email me at latchedonmom (at) gmail (dot) com to submit or to ask any questions. Submissions are due by September 7th.
