My Review of the Molded Seamless Washable Nursing Pads by Baby
NiP from Nursing Bra Express
Lactating moms know
that the need to use breastpads is kind of a given along with the territory of
being a new mom. Making sure that you have something there to protect you from
leaks is kind of important. Sometimes a leak may be quite embarrassing. Luckily there's many options available for
you so you have nothing to worry about.
With my first, all I used were the disposable types and they are great
in a pinch but for me, they caused my breasts to stay moist, which is an easy
way to pick up thrush. So I started
using reusable only and this has helped me feel drier and also feels good to
know you're adding less trash to those landfills.
The Molded Seamless Washable Nursing Pads by Baby NiP from Nursing Bra Express is a product that
I'm happy to be reviewing with you today. These nursing pads are made of high
quality cotton, are seamless and molded to rest in a perfect position around
your areola and worn in your bra.
They're multi-layered, composed of 95% cotton and 5% polyester, with the
outer shell being cotton, they are comfortable and absorbent. The Baby NiP
Nursing Pads are easily washable, just toss in with like colors in warm and
tumble dry or let air dry. They're also
made in Canada.
I'm a morning leaker
so I put on a pad on my left side while manual pumping my right side. I've been known to put out about an ounce of
breastmilk during this ritual morning pump, but the pad seemed to absorb the
milk in and the shell was still mostly dry.
It held in place, and I decided to wear it for a few more hours to see
how it felt after awhile. I honestly think these pads are comfortable, and help
you with any possible leaks you could encounter. They are easily washable and keep their form
after the three washes I put them through.
What I like most
about this product is the design of the pads, they really fit well. I also love that it's environmentally
friendly because you can use it hundreds of times.
Is there anything I'd
change about it? I'm not a big fan of
serged edges. It's not like serged edges
cause discomfort, but they can sometimes catch something in the washer or dryer
and rip. I'd love to see these exact
pads with an inner stitch and I'd give them a ten out of 10!

This is my first pregnancy and the more I read about disposable diapers, the more I don't want to use them.I love that these are multilayer! About how many reusable nursing pads would you suggest to get?
